We have posted a number of things people have done in support of Jill on her Auxiliary Page.

In addition to spreading them around the Internet to try and get people to call Dr. Dargo to get him to free Jill, they can be directed at Bronson Behavioral Health’s LinkedIn Account through messaging and tagging it.

Until our comment function is working reliably, please e-mail us with the actions you take so we can post them in the auxiliary pages we have set up as a work-around.  Especially if you tried to leave a comment and were stymied.  Unless you tell us otherwise, when we post your e-mails, we will remove your e-mail address.

Jill Kesti Needs Your Help!

Psychiatric survivor Jill Kesti, founder of the Coalition to End Forced Drugging, needs your help! She is being held captive at “Bronson Behavioral Health” in Battle Creek Michigan and chemically assaulted by staff under the order of Dr. Jonathan Dargo.

Jill Kesti was hard at work on the case of another psychiatric survivor, Stephen, who she was doing her best to help from a distance, when police showed up and took her away from her home, her cat, her community, and her internet access.

Unfortunately, Jill had been put on an “outpatient treatment order” back in March, which means that clinic workers have been coming to her house every morning to watch her take prescription pills in a gross violation of her privacy and autonomy. 

On the 12th of June, medical workers showed up to demand she do this, and she complied, even documenting the process by video as she’s often been doing lately. Even though she complied with this atrocious demand, it seems someone from the clinic called 911 on her, because police showed up at her house later that afternoon. 

Jill was put on an involuntary hold at Bronson Behavioral Health. This is similar to what happened to Jill in 2021, when MindFreedom had to issue an earlier Shield Alert to bring Jill home. Jill is once again being detained 600 miles from her home, tortured with forced drug injections, and has been forced to leave her cat Beega at an animal shelter. We need to get her home and reunited with Beega.

Please call Dr. Jonathan Dargo by calling Bronson Behavioral Health at ‪(269) 256-4700‬, then dial extension 251. If you are unable to reach him or leave him a message, call back and instead dial 2 and then 0, which will let you talk to the receptionist and give them a message to pass on.

Tell Dr. Dargo that Jill Kesti must be sent home immediately! The home invasion she suffered would be enough to traumatize anyone, and her condition at Bronson Behavioral is clearly just getting worse and worse. Jill does an incredible amount of human rights advocacy and calling out institutional violence, and we reject all attempts to write that off as “paranoia.” We demand that Jill be allowed the stability and privacy of her own home, not being put at further risk and threatened every day with losing her companion animal permanently.

We have also seen families get recourse for their incarcerated loved ones by messaging and tagging hospital administrators on LinkedIn. Bronson evidently cares a lot about publicity and reputation, and can be tagged and contacted anywhere you may use social media.

The commenting function is mostly not working at the moment. So if you could e-mail shield@mindfreedom.org to inform us of your social media posts or other actions you have taken to support Jill, that would be great.  We have set up an Auxiliary Page to post these.
