HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY, JUDI’S ROOM
Judi’s Room will be celebrating 5 years of coming together the first Wednesday of each month on December 3 at 6 ET. Jim Rye, Daniel B. Fisher, Ron Bassman, Myra Kovary, David Oaks, and others will share their stories about Judi. Come share your own story about Judi or how her advocacy impacted your life. We will also have time for Open mic.
The program is named after the celebrated civil rights activist Judi Chamberlin (1944 – 2010), who was a key figure in the formation of the Mad Pride and psychiatric survivor as well as a former member of MindFreedom’s board of directors.
About Judi’s Room
Named after celebrated human rights activist Judi Chamberlin, Judi’s Room is a free event presented jointly by MindFreedom International and I Love You, Lead On to facilitate opportunities for ongoing cross-disability dialogue. It typically begins with a presentation by one or more expert panelists, followed by an open public discussion.
