Mad Liberation & Reforming the Mental Health System! Lecture by David W. Oaks (Roosevelt University, 2nd Floor Congress Lounge, 430 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago., from May 23, 2007 07:00 PM to May 23, 2007 08:30 PM): Free event: David W. Oaks, director of MindFreedom International, will give a lecture and hold a discussion on the topic of what he calls a “Nonviolent revolution in mental health care!” that is led by psychiatric survivors, mental health consumers, concerned mental health professionals, and family members. All are welcome.
