About the Forced Drugging Defense Package
The Forced Drugging Defense Package is a generic set of legal pleadings prepared by The Law Project for Psychiatric Rights (PsychRights) for the MindFreedom Shield Program.
It is intended to be used and adapted by (1) individuals who are being either threatened with or actively subjected to the unwanted administration of a class of psychiatric drugs known as antipsychotics or neuroletpics, as well as (2) attorneys who are representing such individuals.
It is built upon the written expert testimony (affidavits) of medical journalist Robert Whitaker; physician and clinical research professor Peter C. Gøtzsche, MD; and board-certified psychiatrist Grace E. Jackson, MD.
How to use the Forced Drugging Defense Package
In order to use the Defense Package in court, you must obtain certified copies of Whitaker, Gøtzsche, and Jackson’s affidavits from MindFreedom’s office, which should make them “admissible evidence.” To request these, please email office@mindfreedom.org with a brief overview of your case.
Please note that certified copies are available only to individuals who are involved in court cases in the United States and require formal written testimony. In order to cover the costs of compiling the Defense Package, MindFreedom charges a fee of $25 for those who can afford it.
However, anyone regardless of location can use the links below to download a non-certified copy of the Defense Package for free.
