This photograph depicts a billboard owned by MindFreedom International member Wayne Ramsay, Esq. As many of you know, Florida’s involuntary commitment laws, known as the ‘Baker Act’ are responsible for thousands of Floridians being psychiatrically incarcerated without due process. Wayne purchased this billboard several years ago in order to promote human rights in Florida’s mental health system. He receives  offers from local businesses to lease the billboard but Wayne has declined these offers, preferring instead, to let as many passers-by that people who are locked up in Florida’s mental health system are not forgotten. Wayne has also represented MindFreedom International members on a pro bono basis to help them resist their psychiatric oppression. Thank you Wayne!
