Judi’s Room, usually scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month, is cancelled for July 3rd.
We will be back with Judi’s Room on Wednesday, August 7th at 6 PM Eastern Time. The topic will be: “If Assisted Suicide Is Legal, What Will Our Healthcare Be Like?”
Assisted suicide law proposals are expanding to include people with non-terminal illnesses. Some proposed laws have included such labels as anorexia, depression, schizophrenia, and dementia. We will discuss the ramifications for healthcare if assisted suicide is considered a healthcare choice.
Please stay tuned for further details about August’s Judi’s Room in the next few days.
Judi’s Room is named after Judi Chamberlin, a human rights activist who was also one of the founding members of MindFreedom International. It is co-sponsored by MindFreedom International and I Love You, Lead On. There is no cost for Judi’s Room but donations are always appreciated.
We hope to see you in August, and we thank you for your ongoing support.
