Judi’s Room, named after the famed human rights activist Judi Chamberlin aspires to create a safe place for cross-disabilities discussions involving people with different viewpoints, especially those with lived experience of being labeled with or perceived as having a disability, including psychiatric disabilities. This ia a great space to share your perspectives and be heard. Typically, in Judi’s Room, an expert or panel of experts makes a brief presentation which is followed by a public discussion.
With this month as an exception, due to the holidays, Judi’s Room takes place on the first Wednesday of the month. If you wish to receive regular invitations/information about Judi’s Room, please contact office@mindfreedom.org and write ‘Add me to Judi’s Room list’ in the subject heading.
