We met with one of the psychiatrists at Accra Psychiatric Hospital who was in middle of meeting with interns. While he was very friendly, and said he was very open to change, we noticed his dry erase board had the names of about a dozen psychiatric drugs! While MindFreedom is choice, we noted that throughout the tour, our human rights delegation was told that almost all inmates take psychiatric drugs, and involuntary psychiatric drug injections are used for resisters.
