All over the world MAD (marginalized and disadvantaged)communities, primarily psychiatric survivors, but not always, celebratethemselves on July 14th, MAD pride day. In tribute, The Friendly SpikeTheatre Band invites you to attend the MAD PRIDE THEATRE FESTIVAL (July9th to July 18th) a theatre arts event dedicated to the MAD communityat The Friendly Spike Warehouse Theatre 2466 Dundas street west andfeaturing: PEACES – (Friday July 9th, Saturday July 10th at 8pm andSunday July 11th 2:30pm) , a one person play written and performed bySrimoyee Mitra, strings together fragmented stories of deceit,violation and power; and IT’S A MAD MAD WORLD – (Wednesday July 14th at8pm) a cabaret featuring both artists and activists.
