Teresa Warner is donor to Allina, which forcibly electroshocks Ray Sandford

Ms. Warner gave over $100 to Allina, c/o Allina’s United Hospital Foundation, in 2002. Allina is the owner of Mercy hospital that forcibly shocks Ray and employs Ray’s psychiatrists. Ms. Warner has been a member of Allina’s “1855 club,” who are donors who have given between $100 and $249 annually.

Ms. Warner is involved with other controversies.

According to the Minnesota Court Reform Organization, Warner also participated in another controversial case of state intrusion in Minnesota. Critics say that Warner unnecessarily ordered children to be permanently separated from their mother after the mother objected to an order requiring them to visit their dangerous father and the father then assaulted her child. The mother was even jailed so she would comply. Critics said the case had overtones of racism, sexism, and acts of official corruption against the mother.

Warner is also now the presiding over the controversial trial of the RNC8, arrested for protesting during the Republican National Convention in 2008.

Appointed by Governor Arne Carlson in 1998. Elected in 2000 and 2006. Current term expires in 2013, when she would face re-election if she chooses to run.
